What is your friends end goal? To learn AIX, or to do something cool?<br> <br> If he is trying to learn AIX what he will want is a version of AIX 5.x and it may or may not run on the old hardware. If you let me know the hardware he is trying to run on I can let you know what versions of AIX should run on it.
