There is a "flavor" of Ubuntu - Ubuntu Lite - that is specifically designed for lower end systems. It uses IceWM as the default WM. More info can be found in this thread. <a href="http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=98233&highlight=mini+install">

My copy of 5.04 (I don't have the latest, yet) says it requires 128MB of<br>RAM to run the live version and 32MB of RAM and 1.8GB of hard disk space<br>for a typical installation on a hard disk.<br><br> Chick
