I've used system rescue cd (<a href="http://www.sysresccd.org/Main_Page">http://www.sysresccd.org/Main_Page</a>) many times in the past for this. it has qparted and partimage. Partimage works most of the time even with NTFS partitions and allows you to grow the partition as you restore it to occupy additional space.
