gllug.org is hosted from a shared hosting server. An irc server is not
appropriate there.<br>

Honestly, if somebody wants to try starting an irc channel, they're
welcome to do that, but past experience has shown that we lack critical
mass to make an irc channel a useful tool for anybody.<br>
<br>
If you have trouble using an email program, I suggest taking the time
to learn. Something approximating proper grammar and punctuation go a
long way to making this medium easier to use. We aren't hard cases
about it, but in email it's eqivalent to mumbling when speaking in
person.<br>
