It isn't about hating, it's about losing the ability to do things
with it<br>
after you've bought it. The idea that ram is soldered in means you<br>
don't have the option to think about expansion later--you have to<br>
guess now, what your needs are likely to be.<br>

Me, I'm often feeding laptops new things, especially more ram.<br>
This is bad, I think.<br>

Apple is morphing into an appliance company away from being a<br>
computer company. Certainly their business model seems to be<br>
working.<br>
