<div dir="ltr">I agree with Clay. The installation process of the *BSDs is needlessly archaic. I can think of a number of reasons why the *BSD maintainers are keeping it so but none of the reasons are very nice. <div><br>

</div>I cannot recommend it if you can avoid it. BSD style builds are long<br>
and unpleasantly complicated.<br>
