<div dir="ltr">I am looking for some help, and perhaps this would provide a solution for me. I have an EEEPC netbook (Windows XP) which I would like to convert to Point Linux. What is holding me back is that I don't know what to do when I reach the installation point of using GRUB to create the new partitions. I can get to edit mode and change to ext4, but the part to change the mount point is grayed out. Any assistance is welcome. I would suggest that complex subjects would be better for our group if they were about what the piece of software/hardware can do, and not a great amount of detail of how to do it. For example (this is not criticism of previous presenters), if we were to have someone demonstrate something like Puppet or Ruby or a web server, I think it would be better if you focused on its capabilities rather than train us to use it. An exception to this would be if you want to demonstrate a particular skill that others might find useful, such as a demo we had many years ago about how to create realistic-looking flames with GIMP. Another example would be how to configure a simple firewall for a desktop PC using a firewall configuration tool, a specially-designed distro, or iptables rules by themselves.
