FOS: Upcoming sociolx talk: Maya Ravindranath Abtahian

Save the date for Friday, December 11th, when Maya Ravindranath Abtahian (U
Rochester) will be giving a Linguistics colloquium talk on language shift
in Indonesia and Belize, and (probably) dialect shift in New Hampshire. The
talk will be in B-243 Wells Hall, 2pm - 3:30pm.

This talk will potentially be of interest to a wide audience, since it will
include some discussion of language policy and language protection. So
please do circulate to colleagues in relevant fields such as second
language studies, education, economics, anthropology and beyond.
