FOS,

A reminder that the Michigan State Undergraduate Linguistics Conference
(MSULC) <https://sites.google.com/site/2017msulc/> is *TODAY, 12:00 - 5:00.*
The program is here
<https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B87joaGnR6bTZG5hVjNNUlEzbjQ/view>. There
is a great line-up of posters and talks, a keynote by an alumna of our
program, and of course free food :) So do try to make some time to drop by
the *Innovation Hub (1st floor of Wells, D-Wing -- formerly the Math
Library).* Students are eager to show you their work, including plenty on
sociolinguistic variation. And several of the projects won prizes at UURAF!
This is your chance to see them in a much smaller and more informal
environment.

And this weekend, it's GLEEFUL <https://sites.google.com/site/gleeful2017/>,
with a mix of MSU and non-MSU undergraduate presenters, plus keynotes from
Elan Dresher and Andrew Nevins, and workshops from Marisa Brook and Marlyse
Baptista. The program is here
<https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9t8Q22YVlXHZEtqMjdTMjVWNDA/view>.

Whether you are a student or a faculty member, come along and be inspired
by all the great research, keynote talks and skills workshops!

Suzanne
