FOS,

The World Languages Day team is looking for volunteers. Please consider
helping out! It's a really fun event that gives high school students
exposure to languages, culture and linguistics. And it's a nice opportunity
for MSU faculty and students to participate in community outreach.

Please share this widely.

Best,
Suzanne

* * Seeking Volunteers! * *

We need volunteers for World Languages Day, a one-day conference held on
campus for Michigan high school students. The event encourages them to
include the study of foreign languages, cultures and a study abroad
experience in their high school and college careers. You can learn more
about this event at our website, https://wld.clear.msu.edu/. In addition to
having fun and learning more about languages and cultures, volunteers
receive a certificate, t-shirt, and lunch (if working over the lunch hour).

Volunteers will need to:

   - Sign up on our website with your contact and availability information.
We will take volunteers until all positions have been filled or until the
first express orientation, whichever comes first.
   - Drop in during *one* of the following mandatory express orientations:
      - Wednesday, March 22 anytime from 11:00am to 2:00pm, B430 Wells
      Hall, OR
      - Thursday, March 23 anytime from 4:00pm to 6:30pm, B430 Wells Hall.
   - Volunteer for a block of at least four hours on March 25, 2017.

Learn more about volunteering at
https://wld.clear.msu.edu/loginregister/volunteer, and sign up via the link

If you have more questions regarding volunteering, please contact the
Volunteer Coordinators: Danielle Steider (steider at msu.edu) or Dustin De
