I am Kami Silk's assistant in the College of Communication Arts and
Sciences, and she requested I send information to you on a research talk we
have coming up this Friday, November 3rd. She knew faculty in the College
of Arts and Letters may be interested, and was hoping you could send out
the info.



Please see the attached flyer for more information on the talk, which will
be held this Friday, November 3rd at 10-11:30am. It is titled *"Mixed
Methods and Interdisciplinary Research: Qualitative Doesn't Mean Wimpy."* It
will be held in Room 161 of the Communication Arts and Sciences Building.



This talk is being presented by ComArtSci and the NEXUS Lab and will be
given by Dr. H. Russell Bernard, Professor Emeritus of Anthropology at the
University of Florida and Director of the Institute for Social Science
Research at Arizona State University.
