Good afternoon,

The Michigan State University Linguistics Student Organization is pleased to announce the schedule for the Graduate Linguistics Expo at Michigan State (GLEAMS). GLEAMS is Michigan State University’s Department of Linguistics and Languages' departmental graduate student colloquium. This workshop will showcase graduate work in phonology, syntax, semantics, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, and child language acquisition, giving graduate students the opportunity to present their work to colleagues within and outside the department. This year’s GLEAMS will take place Friday, November 2nd and Saturday, November 3rd.

Date of event:  Friday, November 2nd and Saturday, November 3rd
Time of event:  1:00PM - 5:30PM on Friday; 9:30AM - 5:30PM
Location of event: B342 Wells Hall

Invited speakers: Jason Shaw (Yale University) and Rajesh Bhatt (University of Massachusetts- Amherst)

The GLEAMS website will be updated with the invited speakers’ talk abstracts as the date approaches. Catered breakfast and lunch will be provided on Saturday. Both days, we will go out to dinner at 6PM.
