This is hot off the press: Dr. Anne Charity Hudley and Dr. Mary Bucholtz at
University of California Santa-Barbara have just launched a paid 8-week
linguistics summer internship, open to undergrads everywhere. See Dr.
Hudley's tweet:

These National Science Foundation-funded internships typically pay $4000.
They are a fantastic and prestigious way to expand your intellectual
horizons, prepare for graduate school, and meet great people.
