Subject: FW: Language student storytelling opportunity
Hi all,
I am working with CeLTA on the MSU Languages campaign's annual SAGA event which will be held this January 30th at 6pm at SCENE Metro Space. Unfamiliar with SAGA or the MSU Languages campaign? Visit the website here<http://www.languages.celta.msu.edu/stories/2018/11/7/calling-all-storytellers>.
We are on crunch time, looking for a few more speakers and attendees. Please share this event, speaking and networking opportunity with all of your language colleagues and students. SAGA is a night for language learners (or masters) to share their unique language journey and story with not only the MSU community, but the East Lansing one as well.
MSU Languages strives to encourage students to enroll in language courses at our university, in hopes that they will discover the transformative power of language, that I know all of you have experienced first-hand.
If you are teaching a class this semester, please consider sharing this event with your students as an out of the classroom opportunity for learning. If you have lead a study abroad, please consider past students who have had unique experiences and would be excited to share their stories. Students, faculty, and community members can email starkka5 at msu.edu<mailto:starkka5 at msu.edu> to send in their stories for review and can sign-up for attendance to the event on our FaceBook page here<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__www.facebook.com_events_471620239910950_&d=DwMFAg&c=nE__W8dFE-shTxStwXtp0A&r=QmhZA4PVAobB5LX6f20h_A&m=8hnvX_q_Qzpye9IiF2W_HUYiTwuORmqbz0DWNhIMBeI&s=A7H_1KEDdq10_y8g-U5fUhLEVeU1qE_SUzMcymxrC5I&e=>.
If you have any questions, please let me know! Even a forward to someone who might be interested would be a great help.
Thank you,
Grace Mortson
