A heads-up that you're invited to the bi-annual Linguistics graduate program conference, GLEAMS, this Friday 10/30 and Saturday 10/31. This year the event will be very informal and lowkey (hence the late announcement!). Note that there will be an overview of the Sociolinguistics Lab's MI-Diaries project on Friday afternoon, 4pm: http://mi-diaries.org.

I'll send Zoom details and the full line-up when they become available.

Hello everyone!

I'm happy to announce that the 2020 Graduate Linguistics Expo at Michigan State (GLEAMS), the Linguistics and Languages department's graduate student colloquium, will be taking place via Zoom on Friday, October 30th (half day) and Saturday, October 31st (full day)!

Friday will include our invited speakers, our very own Dr. Betsy Sneller, graduate student YongQing Ye, and Dr. Suzanne Wagner, from 4:00pm to 5:30pm EST. Saturday we will have our graduate student speakers present their research starting from 9:30am to 1:10pm EST. Graduate student nominees and specific talk schedules will be announced on the program closer to the event.
