and our homes. We have sometimes taken their abilities for granted. But in recent years, scientists have embarked on an objective inquiry into the minds and abilities of animals, and the more we learn, the more we realize that animals can pull off some amazing
feats. </span><span style="font-size:12pt; font-family:Calibri,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif,serif,EmojiFont; margin:0px">In this course, we explore a holistic approach to studying animal behavior and cognition to better understand their communicative capabilities.
We will cover a range of topics from breaking down what exactly your dog understands when you say his or her name to studying the intricacies of bee dances. Ultimately, we will try to answer the question “Do animals have language?” </span><span style="font-size:12pt; font-family:Calibri,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif,serif,EmojiFont; margin:0px">This
course is entirely online in the summer, meaning you can work from anywhere at your own pace. </span></p>
