It appears that I can now burn 6.2 CDs. I ran the cleaning tape and reloaded the ISO. I was able to mount it via loopback, and I just burned and booted a test CD. Assuming this wasn't a fluke, I should have some 6.2 CDs at tomorrow's meeting.
