AGP Video Support

Greetings:

Can anyone provide some information as to the AGP video support under
Linux?  I'm considering building a Linux desktop machine with an AGP 3d
card, but I really don't know what hardware I can use.  The card, btw,
is a RIVA TNT2 so 3d drivers should come from Nvidia.  Are there any
special considerations for the AGP bus on the motherboard?  What
brands/models are supported?  Thanks.
