OT: Sun & Gnome = ?

As long as they don't try the M$ tactic of "embrace and extend"...
Though it's not too likely to happen, I don't want to see GNOME 3
years down the road ending up as a copy of CDE or emblazened with
a new name.  I can just see it now: "Now starting Sun-GNOME GNU/Linux
Mozilla OS..." ;)  OK, so I'm being a bit cynical here, but I fear
huge corporate involvement in projects that seem to compete (at
least on some levels) directly with their own products.
