The JetDirect manual should cover at least BSD systems, Solaris, and
HP-UX.

All UNIX native printing systems are crap... get rid of them all!

Install and use LPRnG (http://www.astart.com/lprng/LPRng.html) with
the ifhp filter (same site) for HP printers.  Both software packages
are well documented at the website and are distributed under the GPL.
