hp sucks. sorry.

so i downloaded hp jetadmin. installed smoothly. doesn't detect a thing. I got
the printer plugged into the same hub the machine is plugged in the jetadmin
runs on. the machine is a 192.168.1.x subnet.

i searched for any devices and i searched for specific Ip or jetdirect type
or hw address. nothing.

my network surely runs ok. I don't see why it can't see the printer. the
light is on at the hub for the printer card.

how about i bring my printer to next meeting and we text this out =) j/k

and the printer works fine, installed on win box over parallel port.
