(OT) DOS <shudder> networking

The plan is to have a standard image for each computer type, all of a type
being identical.
dd would not work right now, as the images are compressed in ghost's
personal file type. I probably could not convince the powers that be to
change it.

wont dd only write a disk the exact size of the image? he might have
different sized drives on his various machines.
