gnome and kde

they take up space. I have a few windowmanagers on my box but only in case I
break one so I can switch to another and do a little testing. I don't like
either of them because I don't think there is need for them. KDE has so many
menus (out of box) its insane and they are quite slow. You can put in a prog
like xdm and switch easily between them.

afterstep by itself. smooth and fast.
