I imagine this is an install on a second computer (or you wouldn't be
sending us this email).  Why not take out the HD and place it in another
computer which has the resources/means (i.e. cdrom drive/slackware
disksets, rpm isos, whatever you need man).  then do the install there,
and just move the drive back?  it seems like way too much hassle to
establish a plip session or make 40 different floppy disk sets).
