the great thing about working in a windows environment is the helpful email
tips you get from colleagues sometimes. I wouldn't have known about one of
those hot features Outlook has.

why do I have to even read my mail? why can't I have somebody else read it and
answer it for me?

PS: I finally got a housemate who knows Unix. I asked her if I could put Linux
on her box and she seems interested. =) This times perfectly as Montie
House is now entirely fully wired thanks to the great work of Information
Technology Systems (hope I got that right) Contact: Michelle Baird

I've tried this tip and it works. You still need to wait until all the default
acceptance takes place, but the message is automatically generated and will
save a step or two.

Today's Outlook Tip

ACCEPT MEETING AND TASK REQUESTS WITHOUT OPENING THEM
Outlook's Preview Pane makes it easy to read your mail without having
to open any messages. But it's not as easy to accept meeting and task
requests--the pane can't display Accept or Reject buttons. Still don't
feel like opening your mail? There's an easy way to accept these
requests without opening them.

To accept a meeting or task request, drag the request from your Inbox
to the Calendar (or Task) icon in the Outlook Bar; you can also drag
the message to the appropriate folder in the Folder List. Outlook will
send an acceptance notice to the originator of the request just as if
you had opened the request and clicked Accept.
