Hard Drive Problems

Thank you to Ben and <embarrassed> another GLLUG user who responded..

I am running Kernel 2.2.14-5.0. Default RedHat 6.2 install. I am not doing
anything fancy at all. I install, start downloading files off the internet,
and once I hit that one "point" on my hard drive, IO Errors begin. Very
annoying.

System logs..

Looking in /var/log/messages does lead to some good info... I shall share
and hopefully you can help me further..

Recommendations.. Thanks Ben for helping me this far.. When I reinstalled
RedHat this morning I was sure to have it format but Swap and Root and check
both for "bad blocks", if that matters
