Mike,
Have you partitioned the drive yet? If not, run fdisk /dev/hd?
whereas ? is the drive (a would be primary, b secondary, etc,
sda for primary scsi), or cfdisk if you can't take fdisk.
After that, run mkfs.ext2 /dev/hda or /dev/hdb which
ever drive you wish to format. Be careful with this
one as always with formatting.
