In the future, use -Uvh instead of -i when installing rpms.

Try passing the -f (force) switch to rpm when installing the
ghostscript package. I've had to do this a couple of times when I had
all the necessary dependencies of a certain package, but rpm wouldn't
believe me.
By the way, I'm not hardly an expert on rpm, so take this advice with a grain
of salt. It worked for me.
