OS X Development environment

You can already run X stuff with MacOS X, there is tenon's iTools, and
XonX (sourceforge), and you can configure it to skip the Apple
GUI(quartz/Aqua) altogether and just run X if you like.

People are working on porting Fortran, and it comes out of the box
with Perl.

The developer tool is called Project Builder.
