Evolution

OK, it looks like I don't get to try out Ximian Evolution after
all... I tried compiling it, and after going through all the work
to get my dependencies built (including installing an older version
of db3, because Evolution will only work with *one* *specific*
version of db3, and not any older or newer... oh yeah, and you have
to compile it statically... =P ), I ended up with some function
not being called with enough arguments, which of course made the
build fail.

I thought about fetching the Linux binary and running it under
emulation, but due to the large number of prerequisite packages
(basically all of the basic GNOME stuff plus some other packages),
I decided that I really didn't want to try to figure out which ones
I needed and where to download them all from.

Besides, there's nothing like spending hours trying to compile or
install something only to find out that it really stinks, not that
that's ever happened to me before or anything. =)

I'm still interested in trying it out, so if anyone has it installed
somewhere and wouldn't mind giving me a temporary shell account so
I could SSH over and forward the display back so I could poke
around, I would really appreciate the oppertunity. If it turns
out to be good, then I can spend more time trying to get it running
on my box (er, maybe waiting until the release version comes out
too...).
