OT- @home working for you?

I kinda knew that cable modems were going to be too good to be true...
It seems that they are really figuring that they cannot charge what they
are for the service.  I bet you their new offering adds 20 to 30 dollars
to the price of their service...  I was kinda hoping that Fixed Wireless
Broadband would take over more than it has!!

I gotta say though, AT&T @Home has been a real bargain for the $20 I
paid! Look at all the weeks of service I'm getting for my money!

Oct. 12, 2001 - Initial installation, $20 paid for first month Oct. 19,
2001 Oct. 26, 2001 Nov. 2, 2001 Nov. 9, 2001  - Cable modem finally
works!  Next 8 weeks free! Nov. 16, 2001 Nov. 23, 2001 Nov. 30, 2001 -
Last day of service before Excite pulls the plug Dec. 7, 2001 Dec. 14,
2001 - Expected resumption of service. Next 4 weeks free! Dec. 21, 2001
Dec. 28, 2001 Jan. 4, 2002 Jan. 11, 2002 Jan. 18, 2002 Jan. 25, 2002
Feb. 1, 2002 Feb. 8, 2002  
Feb. 15, 2002 - Approximate last day of free service

That's 4 months of service for $20!  And I still get 2 more months after
that at $20, which at the current rate should keep me in broadband until
almost 2003!!!
