Uptime Vs. Stuck tape

Maybe I should just shut the machine down and forget about it.  That way
its secure.  Of course the only work it would do for me then is collet
dust. :-)

Seriously, this is a good opportunity for me to upgrade the kernel and
review other patches that I may have gottent to apply.

Speaking of security I recently got the Bob Toxen book "Real World Linux
Security".  I have just flipped through it so far, but it looks really
good.  Lots of pratical immediately useful information.
