Tim,

    Thanks for the advice - I'm happy to say I pinged my isp's website
(www.ia4u.net) and the modem started dialing, got a connection after 2
retries (busy) and resolved the ping.  Now I have to get networking going
on my Win98 and OS/2 machines.  Thanks again and will keep the list
informed of my progress.
