XFree86 colormap problem

*sigh* hard to tell what depth it's running in when you only have
some xterms on the screen... =P  Fixed it now, should be running
in 24bit next time I try it (right now I'm duplicating my /usr
partition so I can take a few hundred Mb away from it to make into
swap... =P )
