I posted a week or so ago about my kick-ass new laptop. Well, I'm selling
the desktop it replaced now. I thought I'd post here in case anyone in the
GLLUG was interested, you'll get first priority. I'll also think about
trades, etc...
Here's the specs:
--Abit KT7-RAID Motherboard (1 AGP 4x, 6 PCI, 1 ISA, 2x UDMA-66, HPT-370 (2x
UDMA-100))
--AMD Duron 600Mhz w/ Global Winn FOP-32/38 (I have both fans)
--Single 256Mb PC133 CAS3 SDRAM DIMM (running around ~140Mhz CAS3, passes
48hr MemTest86 just fine)
--8Mb AGP NVidia TNT-2 M64 Graphics card
--Sound Blaster Live! Value
--3Com 905TX PCI 10/100 NIC
--Big-Ass Full Tower ATX Case w/ 2 80mm blow-holes + 300W Power Supply
--3 1/2" Disk Drive
--6x SCSI Pioneer Slot-load DVD-ROM Drive (50 pin)
--8x4x24x SCSI Yamaha CD-RW Drive (50 pin)
--Tekram DC-390U2W Ultra-2 Wide PCI SCSI Controller
--Super-duper-extra long 6 device 50 pin internal SCSI cable
--17" NEC Multisync Monitor w/ integrated speakers
That's the gist of it... I'll throw in mouse and keyboard and who knows
what else, or you can ask me about individual parts, or whatever, I'm just
looking to liquidate some hardware so I can buy that Cardbus SCSI controller
I want for my laptop and the Yamaha 16x10x40x SCSI CD-RW I want...
I've had Linux running on this beast for months, flawless. The FOP-32/38 is
the HSF (HeatSink+Fan), very beefy (for overclockin') the 32CFM fan is
bearable, but the 38CFM fan is loud.
The two blowholes in the case are populated by 80mm case fans, one hole
blows air from outside the case dirrectly onto the processor, the other
sucks air from the processor and blows it outside the case... They work
very well.
I can't find the digital camera right now, and I don't want to clog your
inbox with spam, so I'll send pictures on request.
