DHCP

Hi Scott,

Let me put it this way:  even if you use static IP addresses, assign them
via MAC address with a DHCP server.  Having all of the addressing stored on
one server is orders of magnitude easier than setting up each machine.  If
you don't use DHCP, you'll regret it later.

As I hinted at earlier in the message, you can use DHCP _and_ static
addresses in addition to the "random" address assignment you're probably
familiar with.
