Any language you like. I mean it depends on what keymap and language you
chose. I am sure the English distro can be used as Japansese user. I never
used those isos but I figure all it is is defaulting to Japanese and including
some special packages which were not available when 7.1 was released back in
february.

SuSE has update packages for 2.1.1 KDE on the ftp site. The same goes for
Gnome 1.4
