Zope

Anyone on the list have any experience with writing DTML stuff in
Zope?  The documentation for Zope, while apparently copious, is
definately not organized in a manner conductive to actually *finding*
anything...  It's sad really that so much work has been put into
it, but yet it is so unusable as a reference source...

Anyways, I'm looking for some reference material regarding various
variables, specifically documentation that references things like
"_['id']".  I want my standard_html_header and _footer to only be
displayed if they were called directly by the object requested,
but NOT be displayed if the calling object was nested inside another
object.

So if I request to look at /news, I get a news page with headers,
but if I request /index_html I get a page with a bunch of stuff
including a table cell filled with news (the same object, just one
displayed with headers and one without since it's embedded...).

Any suggestions on how I might do this, or where I might find some
better reference materials?
