debian archive

Hello,

well I finally managed to get the base system on a drive. It's woody and reiser
so I am happy about that. I locally rsynced the debian archive and I thought I
had it all but during the install I noticed it referred to pool/ directory
which I hadn't rsynced. I am doing that right now but I am wondering if I am
being efficient.

Basically my rsync script downloads everything from under dists except source/,
non-'binary-all/' and non-'binary-i386/'. I am syncing pool/ right now but pool
contains packages for all platforms if I am correct.

Could I just sync pool/ and include *i386.deb and *all.deb and maybe *.tar.gz
and catch all I need for my systems? Basically I like to know if there is some
type of orderly system pool is organized with.

Thanks,
