HD failure

There was someone that went to one of our meetings that did data recovery.

did you try the ole "thunk the disk on its side" trick? That will
sometimes free up stuck heads long enough to grab data.

If it does work, and you get it mounted make sure you grab it as soon as
you get it mounted. IE dont put it back in the machine if you have nowhere
to back it up.
