OT: Mac question

Make sure you update the firmware on that box. It is free but you need to
login to the apple support site. It is the 4.1.9 firmware update.

You can also zap the pram (command-option-p-r) and can work too. It
_almost_ sounds like they were trying to install OS X on it and it won't
boot, the firmware corrects that problem.
