[GLLUG] Is anyone going ti the computer sale on junuary 20?

Another good place to go is the State Surplus Program. They have
auctions pretty much monthly. The last auction was this past Saturday,
and the next upcoming auction is on 7/13. Call 335-8444 and you can be
put on their mailing list to receive info regarding public sales and
auctions.

I haven't been to one in a long time (summer of '99 - you know what I'm
talking about!), but at that one they were selling older x86 hardware by
the *palette*. It shouldn't be hard to find some older 14"/15" monitors
there.

On a similar note, what's a good place to get second-hand 14" monitors
before then? I looked in Good Deals but their prices seemed /very/ high
for what I want (old stuff, doesn't matter if it looks dirty or can only
do 800x600) - they wanted $60 and up.
