We could have a NAS-building LUG meeting/party... All everyone needs is
some cash and we can make ourselves a few servers:

$250 for a basic system with 1.1GHz Duron, 256MB, 10/100 network, and
motherboard and case with capacity for 8 IDE drives.
8x$140=$1120 for a full system of 80GB 7200rpm drives OR
8x$280=$2240 for a full system of 160GB 5400rpm drives

That totals about $1500 for 640GB or $2500 for 1.280TB.  Add in $0 for
your choice of Linux or FreeBSD and there ya go, plenty of online
storage space.  ;)
