  There is or was also a distro simply called PPCLinux. I think I had
better luck with Yellow Dog when I put Linux on an iMac, but since
that was two years ago now it's probably not a valid datapoint...

  What kind of X problems, out of curiosity? I have Rage 128 programming
specs ;)
