Hi,

I learned Linux mainly by going to the Lansing Community College
library. They have a great collection of Linux books complete with
Linux distros, the books can be checked out for 3 weeks and re-newed,
too. If you aren't in Lansing, find a library around you. Most have
RedHat for Dummies or the like. It's the best way to get a $50 computer
book for free.

LCC (and MSU) for that matter have a salvage yard and you can pick up a
beater PC and experiment and not hurt any of your current setup.

Good luck and welcome.
