Paul
1 program 100009 version 1 ready and waiting ok
2 ypcat passwd ok all users are there both on server and clients
3 adding a new user does not automatically appears on the client; first I
had to update the NIS maps(make -C /var/yp) then new user appears on the
client.
4 /etc/nsswitch.conf file on both server and client have passwd: files
nis, as are shadow, group, hosts.
5 have checked passwd file and there are no lines beginning with '+'
So still no luck!!

Regards
Justino
