/etc/yaboot.conf ?

Try adding something like:

image=linux.bin
	label=linux-video-hope-it-works-on-my-new-powerbook
	initrd=root.bin
	append="video=aty128fb"

or:

image=linux.bin
	label=linux-livin-on-a-text-based-prayer-like-bon-jovis-hair
	initrd=root.bin
	append="video=ofonly"


OK, but don't really use the obnoxious labels.  That's more typing than
you want to do. :-)

I tried resetting the res in MacOS and it doesn't seem to work.

Any idea where yaboot keeps its conf files?
