Fortunately, I'm not looking at having to do this again any time soon (I
hope).  But if you've got a URL for a HOWTO or other docs on the ISC
implementation, I'd love to read it, or at least bookmark it for future
reference.

Actually this is even pretty easy these days at least as long as you use
ISC's DHCPd along with their release of BIND. The inter-operation is all
built in now and works pretty well. I can help if anyone wants any
pointers.
