I have had the same problems with Belkin OmniView switches. I tried the
troubleshooting steps, replaced KVM cables, and had Belkin send me
components to replace on the board. I still had problems with getting the
mouse to work properly and could never identify a pattern to it. After a
year I used all the ports on the 8 port model I had and needed another KVM.
My boss made me buy another Belkin 8 port. It had the same problems. After
another year of begging I got my boss to buy a KVM from Avocent, which costs
more but worked great. At my current job we recently replaced some Belkin
KVMs for the same reasons.

The Belkin KVM is the only piece of equipment I have ever worked with that
filled me with rage.

I have a Belkin OmniView KVM switch. When ever I switch to an other
computer, the mouse goes crazy in Red Hat 9. It was fine with Red Hat 7.1,
and it works fine with the rest of the computers.

Why? Any way to fix it?

Thanks,

Seth
