Depends. Music? xnap, xnap.sorceforge.net , it's written in Java but
it doesn't suck performance-wise. Movies? Overnet, www.overnet.com ,
the Linux client is a statically-compiled command-line thing with an
open-source GUI wrapper. This project used to be known as eDonkey.
Neither program suffers from the "need to find more sources" problems
that anything using GNUtella has constantly.
